Cindy graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. Cindy was employed by IBM for two years as a service technician before deciding to be a stay at home mom.

In 2000, after the oldest of her three children began driving, Cindy returned to work as the office manager/bookkeeper for the Monroe Professional Hockey Team. She worked for the Monroe Moccasins for two years before she began working as the Office Manager/Bookkeeper for Terri Kyser’s Interiors, an interior design firm.

While employed at Interior’s, Cindy attended University of Louisiana at Monroe where she completed the course requirements to sit for the CPA exam. In January 2005, after passing the CPA exam, Cindy began working for KPMG, LLP as an Associate Auditor. While at KPMG, she performed the duties of a Staff Auditor for a large SEC client.

Cindy joined AG&W in November 2006. She spends most of her time auditing governmental entities in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, Government Auditing Standards, the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Compliance Supplement for States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations, and OMB Circular A-133, as well as the GASB 34 New Reporting Model.
